October 1996 - September 2003.  Our house is very quiet with Poppy now gone.  She was top Matriarch at our house. A keen watch dog she kept a sharp eye on proceedings at all times. She was wonderfully realible with our children and they both learnt to walk off her back. She loved the two males (Buster and Phantom) but would not tolerate another bitch  in our house. The bottom of our sons bed in now empty.  We all miss her terribly.  Poppy was titled at just over 12 months and never looked back, being one of Victoria's most consistent winning bitches in the early nineties. .  The No. 1 female in Victoria for 1999 and r/up for 2000/2001*.  She had the honor of winning Bitch Challenge at the Royal Melbourne Show in 1999 and nearly a repeat performance with Reserve Bitch Challenge to her half sister in 2001.  At five Poppy  won Reserve Bitch Challenges under breed specialists Mrs Carol Smith (SA) and Mr Steve Meredith (NZ).  Rest In Peace Pop Star.  We know you are the top boss in heaven - NO CONTEST!!
