We purchased our first Stafford in 1992: Ch Satiety Horace Whitesox (Buster).    Did he change our lives!!  He introduced us to being “owned” by a Stafford and into the show world.  We intended to do some obedience with him and eventually entered him into a few shows for fun.  He won his first challenge as a Minor Puppy under Breed Specialist Mrs Sue Swalling and that was it, we were bitten by the show bug!!  We have had our share of heartbreak over the last fifteen years with our beautiful Staffltye Starlifter dying at sixteen months old and Buster being hit by a car at six.  Luckily Buster made a full recovery although we retired him from the show ring.  He has gone on to sire ONE New Zealand and TWELVE Australian Champions, two of them being No 1 Dog for 1999, 2000/2001*  and No 1 bitch 1999, Runner up 2000/2001*.  Our new stud dog Ch Linwest Thunderstruck, the sire of three champions with several more pointed, and is proving to be a worthy sire.  All in all we feel we have been very  fortunate with the fantastic dogs we have owned and have had a great deal of success with our showing.  Our dogs have consistently won under Specialists, which in our opinion is the ultimate honour.   We have owned and  made up six Australian Champions and have handled several more to their titles. We have now bred six Linwest Champions including All Breed and Specialty Best In Show winners. Our dogs have outstanding temperaments and  get on very well with both of our children, Monty the cat, three green tree frogs, budgies and the guinea pigs.    Our Staffords have a great life in our house as part of our family and this will always be a top priority for us.
